Round 3 Underway!

Nobody thought this was going to happen. This time yesterday, there was speculation that this tournament could go deep into next week, but fortunately for everyone involved, mother nature is on the U.S. Open’s side. The USGA has repaired the field according to their scores, and will send them off both the front and back nines.

It’s doubtful that they will get the entire third round complete today, but they should definitely get enough in to be able to finish the tournament on Sunday. I know there are a lot of father-son combos that have a tradition of watching the final round of the U.S. Open together on Fathers Day, so hopefully that will stay the same this year.
