In the Bag: Hunter Mahan
Posted on 10. Aug, 2009 by H. Freeman.
Hunter Mahan is one of my favorite young players on tour. I don’t know much about him as person, but I do know that he has one of the best golf swings in the game today. He is playing very steadily so far this year, and it’s only a matter of time before he breaks through with multiple wins in some of the bigger tournaments on the PGA Tour schedule. If he wins this week at the PGA Championship, I will take credit since it will obviously be because I gave him good luck by posting this “In the Bag” video by the PGA Tour. Anyway, without further ado, here is Hunter Mahan.

EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10…With Scott Van Pelt
Posted on 16. Jun, 2009 by H. Freeman.
Here are some videos that may or may not show up as commercials for the video game Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. There are many of them, but these are a few that I thought were pretty funny. Scott really wants to be in the game as a player, but unfortunately Tiger will [...]

Oh No! Charles Barkley Nails A Fan!
Posted on 15. May, 2009 by H. Freeman.
Everybody has heard by now about Charles Barkley’s desperate attempt to make something out of his golf game. I am a huge fan of Barkley, and am so entertained every time I see him working on his game. However, a certain Alabama fan learned a lesson in this video, as he was hit in [...]

Outside The Ropes: Camilo Villegas
Posted on 13. May, 2009 by H. Freeman.
Here’s another cool “Outside the Ropes” video by the PGA Tour. Featuring Camilo Villegas, this video does a great job shedding some light on what life is like for these young super stars off of the golf course. You always see them grinding it out under tournament conditions and forget to realize that they actually have lives outside of golf. Check it out!

Outside The Ropes: Anthony Kim
Posted on 05. May, 2009 by H. Freeman.
Here’s a really cool video I found of young stallion Anthony Kim. This guy has talent just seeping out of his pours, but this video is about what he is into off of the golf course. Things I learned AK and I have in common after watching this video: We both like the TV shows Entourage and The Office, he loves Kobe Bryant, and he hates heavy metal music.
Those things are enough for me to like him, but watch the vid and see for yourself!

The Masters – Par 3 Contest
Posted on 07. Apr, 2009 by H. Freeman.
Another aspect of the Masters that makes it unique from any other tournament is the Wednesday afternoon Par 3 Contest. A lot of people don’t know this, but no one has ever won the Par 3 Contest and then gone on to win the real tournament as well.
As you’ll see in the video below, players leading the contest on the final hole will purposely hit it into the water, let a fan play for them (automatic disqualification), or just skip the final hole all together so that they do not post an official score. So the players go out and have a great time, all the while purposely trying to not win. See that and other cool parts of the Par 3 Contest in the video below.

WARNING! View At Your Own Golf Swing’s Risk!
Posted on 24. Mar, 2009 by H. Freeman.
A couple of days ago, I touched on the tv series about Charles Barkley reconstructing his golf swing under the tutelage of Tiger’s coach, Hank Haney. That post set a GolfDiggs comment record at an overwhelming total of five comments, so I decided I would keep you all updated on Chuck’s progress since you [...]

Charles Barkley – Time For A Swing Change
Posted on 22. Mar, 2009 by H. Freeman.
Everyone has seen Charles Barkley’s impersonation of a golf swing. There really aren’t words to describe how bad of a golf swing Chuck has, besides saying that it is an excruciatingly painful sight to behold. Being a world class athlete not too long ago, you would think that he would pick up the [...]
